ready to go off to the for body work....
actually looking quite nice once the ugly roof rack is removed, and from a distance....
even so - off to be totally unmade and then remade into a much better car.....

state on arrival in costa rica
side by side with our already restored 1976 Land Rover Safari
notable features: terrible tyres
badly rusty chassis
lots of external detailing needed
inside it mostly is in ok condition
the motor on the drive from panama to costa rica did fine, though with not as much power as it should have had, and needs checking

Landrover Defender TDI 1999
MOTOR: 4 cylinder turbo diesel intercooler
COLOUR: white
STATE: motor is in very good condition, airconditioning not working, body work needed, driver's front door needs replacing, chassis rusted, new tyres and rims to be replaced, 4 WD to be checked
